AccessInsighter (ASI) · A Karris capability under evaluation
Your Microsoft Access database holds more than data—it reflects years of business knowledge, processes and investment. AccessInsighter documents its structure and logic, giving you and your chosen AI service a foundation for exploring what comes next: external dashboards, analysis with Power Pivot or Power BI, new integrations and application enhancements.
Build on what already works, with a clearer understanding of how your data is organised and used.
AccessInsighter supports discovery and planning; connecting data and building these solutions require separate tools and implementation.
Evidence in practice
ASI scan outputs gave ChatGPT the application evidence it used to create a practical new-employee guide for the NorthwindTradersPlus order and inventory application.

A familiar example
NorthwindTradersPlus is based on Microsoft’s familiar Northwind sample database. For this demonstration, a small planning extension was added to check whether a customer order can be fulfilled from current stock or expected production.
A question for the evidence
ASI outputs were provided to an AI assistant for an evidence-based, application-wide review.
Plain-language answer
NorthwindTradersPlus is an integrated order-management and inventory application.
It maintains customers, employees, products and suppliers; processes sales and purchase orders; records stock activity; and supports invoicing, shipping, payments, reporting and administration.
Its added availability-planning feature examines a selected customer order against current inventory and expected production. It prepares a product-level fulfillment plan showing what appears to be available now, what may be supplied by planned production, and where a shortage or later promise date may exist.

Questions you might explore
Help shape an affordable option
Karris is evaluating whether a pay-per-scan service would provide a useful, affordable starting point. A short questionnaire asks about your needs, the level of help you would value, and what you might reasonably pay for that option.
Short demand questionnaire
The questionnaire takes only a few minutes. No Microsoft account or sign-in is required, and you may respond anonymously. Name and email are requested only if you would welcome a brief follow-up conversation.
Opens Microsoft Forms in a new tab.
A clearer starting point
AccessInsighter is not intended to replace qualified professional review of complex or high-risk changes. Its purpose is to create an affordable, evidence-based starting point for understanding the application and having better-informed conversations.
